Free browser tool

Convert SVG to PDF and keep it vector.

Drop an SVG, optionally fix a colour or crop the canvas, then download a PDF whose page matches the artwork. Paths stay vector, so it prints sharp at any size and opens in Illustrator.

How it works

01

Vector, not a screenshot

Shapes, fills, strokes and gradients are written as PDF drawing operators, not rasterized. Text is embedded as outlines when a font is available.

02

Page size

The page takes the SVG canvas proportions; use the Canvas panel to crop or add margin before exporting.

03

Backgrounds

Transparent by default. Pick a colour or an image in the Background panel to bake it into the page.

Limits

What this tool cannot do

  • Filters, masks and blend modes that PDF cannot express are flattened or dropped.
  • Embedded raster images inside the SVG stay raster in the PDF.
  • Very complex files can take a few seconds to write.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the PDF really vector?

Yes. The conversion writes vector drawing commands, so zooming in a PDF viewer shows crisp edges and Illustrator can select the paths.

Can I set the PDF page to A4 or Letter?

The page follows the artwork's canvas. Fit the canvas to 3:2 or a typed size in the Canvas panel first, or place the PDF into a page layout tool.

Does this use my credits?

No. Rendering happens in your browser; a free sign-in is only needed to download.
