Free browser tool

SVG quality checker that explains every warning.

Find out whether an SVG is portable, editable and safe to render. Each warning says what was found and why it matters.

Runs in your browser. The file is never uploaded.

Details

What it checks

01

Structure

Paths, shapes, groups, nodes, colors, gradients, masks, filters, clips and viewBox information.

02

Portability

Embedded raster images, live text, font dependencies, external references and effects other tools may not reproduce.

03

Risk

Scripts, event attributes, foreignObject content, open paths, dense geometry and likely full-canvas white backgrounds.

Limits

What this tool cannot do

  • The report is a heuristic, not a guarantee for every browser, editor, printer or cutting machine.
  • Open paths can be intentional in illustration even when they are risky for fabrication.
  • A low node count does not prove that the curves are accurate.
  • Font or trademark ownership cannot be read from SVG markup.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does CleanVector upload the SVG?

No. The checker runs in your browser tab. It does not send the file or its name to the server.

What does Embedded raster mean?

The SVG contains a PNG, JPG or WebP inside an image element. It may display correctly but still depends on fixed-resolution pixels.

What is cut risk?

Open paths or very dense geometry can behave poorly in cutting and engraving tools. The label is a prompt to inspect the file, not a failure.
